 Most of Mahdia hotels offer to their customers animation and discotheque. In winter as well as in summer, from 21 p.m., animators offer each evening different spectacles or night plays around the pool (in summer), after the traditional Bingo and children spectacles. Later on, many discotheques open their gates to night clubers who will dance until the morning with the sound of last successes. Visitors in search of traditions will try to be invited to one of the marriages ceremonies which rhythm Mahdia summer. Instead, they will sit at a table in one of the coffees where men come to be refreshed and listen to last gossip... Opposite the port, Mahdia Club (El Nadi) is reserved to card players ("belote", "chkoba", etc.) or Chich Bich (an old version of backgammon). Otherwise, don't forget to taste best fish of Tunisia in one of the "gargotes" (cheap but very nice cook-shop) opposite the port, on the quay, or in one of Mahdia restaurants. Restaurants
